Tampa Airport

For the second year in a row, Tampa International Airport (TPA) has secured the No. 2 spot in Travel & Leisure magazine’s list of the World’s Best Domestic Airports.

Five top airports were rated by the magazine’s readers. Qualities like location, access, check-in, security, restaurants, shopping and design were taken into consideration during the voting.

Tampa International Airport is served by 25 major, national and foreign air carriers and has an average of 230 daily nonstop departures. TPA also recently received the 2014 Routes Marketing Award at the Routes Americas forum for its success in attracting new airlines and destinations.

In addition to Tampa International, another Florida airport, Orlando International Airport, made the list at No. 5; up six spots from No. 11 last year.
